Breathtaking home and view

This gem of a home is located in the incredibly charming town of Pieve. The setting, the home, the area, and especially the views from any of the three balconies are remarkable. The beds were comfortable, the home was perfectly clean and maintained, see more
This gem of a home is located in the incredibly charming town of Pieve. The setting, the home, the area, and especially the views from any of the three balconies are remarkable. The beds were comfortable, the home was perfectly clean and maintained, the four bathrooms were more than adequate, and those views...oh my goodness...those views. One of the best experiences of the entire trip was to watch the mountains begin to glow from the backlight of the full moon slowly rising up and over the jagged peaks and then to have the lake glowing with moonlight all night.
A somewhat unexpected perk of this location was the little town that had a nice selection of restaurants, a gelato place, a little grocery store, a charming ancient church complete with 12th century bell tower that would serenade us, and even some nice hiking. Walking around the town made us feel almost like we on the set of Beauty and the Beast. After spending time seeing a few of the larger cities around Lake Garda, we were very happy to take the trek back of the mountain to our little village. |
